La quietud s’esquitllà llangorosament, totes les tempestes caigueren en profund silenci, totes les penes completament s’esvaniren i l’ànima s’adormí. Però avui m’he despertat en una profunda foscúria, envoltat d’una negra nit. Sobtadament arrabassat del llarg, paralitzant repòs, el meu cor bategava en una neguitosa cuita, vives, de les ferides guarides de feia molt temps, cremaven passions del passat de nou deslliurades. Ànima, t’has despertat ara? S’han acabat el son i el repòs? Mireu, ella s’enfronta a noves penes, noves tempestes, amb joiosa determinació, i ella tremola, i ella somriu a totes les estrelles del cel, les seves benaurades companyes.
