by Leon Carolus Bouman (1852 - 1919)

Return to the original list

1. Morgens steh' ich auf und frage  [sung text not yet checked]
by Leon Carolus Bouman (1852 - 1919), "Morgens steh' ich auf und frage", op. 1 (Drei Lieder) no. 1
Language: German (Deutsch)
Morgens steh' ich auf und frage:
Kommt feins Liebchen heut?
Abends sink' ich hin und klage:
Aus blieb sie auch heut.

In der Nacht mit meinem Kummer
lieg' ich schlaflos, [wach]1;
träumend, wie im halben Schlummer,
träumend wandle ich bei Tag.

1 Hecht, Schumann: "lieg ich wach"

by Heinrich Heine (1797 - 1856)
1.
Language: Catalan (Català)
Al matí em llevo i pregunto:
vindrà avui la meva gentil estimada?
Al vespre vaig al llit i em lamento:
avui tampoc ha vingut.

A la nit, amb la meva pena,
resto despert, sens poder dormir;
somiant, com en un mig adormiment,
somiant, camino de dia sense objecte.

2. Ich stand in dunkeln Träumen  [sung text not yet checked]
by Leon Carolus Bouman (1852 - 1919), "Ich stand in dunkeln Träumen", op. 1 (Drei Lieder) no. 2
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich stand in [dunkeln]1 Träumen
Und [starrte]2 ihr Bildniß an,
Und das geliebte Antlitz
Heimlich zu leben begann.

Um ihre Lippen zog sich
Ein Lächeln wunderbar,
Und wie von Wehmuthsthränen
[Erglänzte]3 [ihr]4 Augenpaar.

Auch meine Thränen flossen
Mir von [den Wangen]5 herab --
Und ach, ich [kann es]6 nicht glauben,
Daß ich Dich verloren hab'!

2. Estava immers en obscures vagueries
Language: Catalan (Català)
Estava immers en obscures vagueries
i mirava el seu retrat,
llavors el seu estimat rostre
prengué vida misteriosament.

En els seus llavis es dibuixà
un meravellós somriure
i, com de llàgrimes de melangia,
brillaren els seus ulls.

A mi també, les llàgrimes
em queien per les galtes --
i ai las! A penes em puc creure
que t'he perdut!

3. Mein Liebchen, wir saßen beisammen  [sung text not yet checked]
by Leon Carolus Bouman (1852 - 1919), "Mein Liebchen, wir saßen beisammen", op. 1 (Drei Lieder) no. 3
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mein Liebchen, wir sassen beisammen,
Traulich im leichten Kahn.
Die Nacht war still, und wir schwammen
Auf weiter Wasserbahn.

Die Geisterinsel, die schöne,
Lag dämm'rig im Mondenglanz;
Dort klangen liebe Töne,
Dort wogte der Nebeltanz.

Dort klang es lieb und lieber,
Und wogt' es hin und her;
Wir aber schwammen vorüber,
Trostlos auf weitem Meer.

es mostrava boirosa a la claror de la lluna;
allà sonaven dolces tonalitats,
allà es gronxejava la boira com en una dansa.

Allà hi sonava més i més dolçament
i es gronxejava d'un costat a l'altre;
però nosaltres passarem de llarg,
desolats, navegant en l'ampli mar.
