Rav
Language: Danish (Dansk)
De gik langs der legende Hav,
Og Bølgerne dansed saa lette
Med Skum ad den gyngende Slette;
De vandrede langsomt Fod for Fod,
Stansed, og bukked sig hvor de stod;
De søgte sig Rav.

Hun fik, hvad af Havet han tog,
Skønt blev det slebet, i Form af et Hjærte,
Det skinned saa klart som den klareste Kærte,
Hun bar det paa Barmen, hun kyssed det tidt,
Hun gav ham til Gengæld sit;
Men det var et Hjærte, som slog.

Han fo'r paa det gyngende Hav;
Hun mødte ham ingensinde.
Hun bar paa hans Hjærte derinde,
[Bar]1 det hos sit, bedrøvet og glad,
Hun vidste ikke at skille dem ad; --
[Og]2 hans var kun Rav.
