Das rauschende Gewässer Katashiwas Ist überwölbt von einer schönen Brücke, Der purpurroter Lack zum Schmuck gereicht. Ein zartes Mädchen wandelt unbegleitet Mit kleinen Füssen trippelnd drüber hin; Ein blaues Kleid mit rotem Rande schmiegt sich An ihre feinen Hüften wohlig an. O wüsste ich, ob ihre Hand noch frei ist, Ob nicht ein andrer schon dies Herz gewann! Schnell sagt mir, wo sie wohnt! Ich will's versuchen, Ob ich sie noch für mich gewinnen kann!
