Bessere Gärtnerhand

On the cusp of blooming,
You are now to glow and disperse your scent
Upon the banks of the Danube.

In the Danube's waters you are
To see your image reflected,
Cheeks full of a bright glow,
Dear eyes so gentle.

Rose from the land of Bavaria,
Trust the tidings,
You cannot find
A better gardener's hand.

At all hours this hand
Shall cherish you faithfully,
Rue never follows the forging
Of such a beautiful bond.

Now that love's alliance
Constantly encircles you, 
Rose from the land of Bavaria,
