by Émile Albert Kayenberg (1860 - 1929), as Albert Giraud
Translation by Otto Erich Hartleben (1864 - 1905)

Text Authorship:

  • by Émile Albert Kayenberg (1860 - 1929), as Albert Giraud, "La Lanterne", appears in Pierrot lunaire

Die Laterne
(Sung text for setting by M. Kowalski)
 Matches base text

Composition:

Set to music by Max Kowalski (1882 - 1956), "Die Laterne", op. 4 no. 10 (1913), published 1913 [ voice and piano ], from 12 Gedichte aus Pierrot lunaire, no. 10, Berlin, N. Simrock
