Se vit naguère entretenue
D'un vieil gentilhomme cassé
Qui avait la barbe chenue;
Alors, la souhaitâtes nue
Entre ses bras.
Mais puisqu'il tremble
Et puisque morte elle resemble,
Monsieur, si pitié vous remord,
Ne les faites coucher ensemble,
De peur qu'ils n'engendrent la Mort!
