Wenn deinen seligen Gesang
Du lässest durch die Saiten klingen,
Da löset sich der schwerste Drang,
Es ist, als sollt ich mit dir singen.

Es weichet weit die Welt des Scheins,
Verzehrt von deines Liedes Flammen.
Mit dir nur fühlen wir uns eins
