Die Sennin
(Sung text for setting by C. Faisst)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT DUT ENG FRE ITA
Schöne Sennin, noch einmal
Sende deinen Ruf in's Thal,
Daß die frohe Felsensprache
Deinem hellen Ruf erwache.

Horch, o Mädchen, wie dein Sang
In die Brust den Bergen drang,
Wie dein Wort die Felsenseelen
Freudig fort und fort erzählen!

Aber einst, wie Alles flieht,
Scheidest du mit deinem Lied,
Wenn dich Liebe fortbewogen,
Oder dich der Tod entzogen.

Und verlassen werden stehn,
Traurig stumm herübersehn
Dort die grauen Felsenzinnen
Und auf deine Lieder sinnen.

La pastora
(Sung text translation for setting by C. Faisst)
 See original
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Bella pastora, encara una vegada,
canta la teva tonada a la vall
perquè el joiós llenguatge del rocam
es desperti amb el teu sonor clam.

Escolta, oh pastora, com la teva cançó
penetra dins del cor de les muntanyes,
com l’ànima del rocam repeteix
una i altra vegada les teves paraules!

Però un dia, com tot passa,
te’n aniràs amb la teva cançó,
quan l’amor t’haurà empès,
o la mort se t’hagi emportat.

I restaran, abandonats,
tristos, muts, mirant des d’allà dalt,
els espadats grisos del rocam
pensant en les teves cançons.
