Maiglöckchen und die Blümelein

Maiglöckchen läutet in dem Tal,
Das klingt so hell und fein;
So kommt zum Reigen allzumal,
Ihr lieben Blümelein!

Die Blümchen blau und gelb und weiß,
Die kommen all herbei,
Vergißmeinnicht und Ehrenpreis
Und Veilchen sind dabei.

Maiglöckchen spielt zum Tanz im Nu
Und Alle tanzen dann;
Der Mond sieht ihnen freundlich zu, 
Hat seine Freude dran.

Den Junker Reif verdroß das sehr,
Er kommt ins Tal hinein;
Maiglöckchen spielt zum Tanz nicht mehr,
Fort sind die Blümelein.

Doch kaum der Reif das Tal verläßt,
Da rufet wieder schnell
Maiglöckchen zu dem Frühlingsfest
Und läutet doppelt hell.

Nun hält's auch mich nicht mehr zu Haus,
Maiglöckchen ruft auch mich:
Die Blümchen geh'n zum Tanz hinaus,
Zum Tanze geh' auch ich.

Les clochettes du muguet sonnent dans la vallée,
Elles sonnent si clair et fin ;
Venez toutes ensemble dans la ronde,
Chères petites fleurs !

Les petites fleurs bleues, jaunes et blanches,
Elles viennent toutes de ce côté,
Les myosotis et les véroniques,
Et les violettes sont de la partie.

En un clin d'œil, les clochettes du muguet jouent une danse
Et elles dansent toutes ;
La lune les regardent joyeusement,
Elle s'en réjouit.

Le nobliau gel est très contrarié,
Il arrive dans la vallée ;
Le muguet ne joue plus,
Les petites fleurs sont parties.

Mais à peine le gel a quitté la vallée,
Là il appelle à nouveau vite,
Le muguet, à la fête du printemps
Et il sonne deux fois bien fort.

Maintenant je ne peux pas moi non plus rester à la maison,
Les clochettes du muguet m'appellent aussi ;
Les petites fleurs vont danser,
Moi aussi je vais danser !
