Les campanetes del muguet repiquen a la vall,
sonen tan clares i boniques;
vinga, veniu tots a la rotllana,
vosaltres estimades petites flors!

Les floretes blaves, grogues i blanques,
totes s’apropen,
els miosotis i les veròniques
i les violetes han arribat.

A l’instant, els muguets toquen per a la dansa
i tothom es posa a ballar;
la lluna els esguarda complaent,
gaudint de l’espectacle.

El senyoret gebre, molt disgustat,
arriba a la vall,
els muguets ja no toquen per a la dansa,
totes les flors han marxat.

Però tan aviat con se’n va el gebre,
els muguets tornen a fer la crida
per a la festa de primavera
i toquen encara més fort.

Adés, res em fa restar a casa,
els muguets també em criden a mi:
les floretes surten a ballar
i jo també vaig a la dansa.
