Min Skat
(Sung text for setting by P. Heise)
 Matches original text
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Our translations:  FRE
Hun er sød,
Hun er blød,
Hun er smal om sit liv;
Hun er bøjelig
Og føjelig
Og rank som et siv.
Hendes kind
Er så lind,
Og som rosens så varm;
Hun er nysselig
Og kysselig
På mund, hånd og arm.

Ak, hvor net,
Og hvor let
Som et svævende fnug,
Kan hun neje sig
Og dreje sig
På foden så smuk!
Hvor hun stod
På sin fod,
Hvor hun gik og hun sprang,
Var hun nydelig
Og frydelig
Som fløjternes klang.

Og så kæk
Som en bæk
Mellem blomsternes flok,
Glimter øjets blink
Fornøjet, flink
Bag nødbrune lok.
Hendes røst
Er min trøst
Midt i sorgernes nat; --
Al den herlighed
Og kærlighed
Er min søde skat!
