Pierrot Dandy sich zum Balle.

Wasserstrahl in seiner Schale
Klirrt gleich singendem Metalle.
Im phantast'schen Mondenstrahle
blitzen Fläschchen und Krystalle.

Pierrot, statt daß auf die schmale
Bleiche Lippe er das dralle
Rot des frischen Lebens male,
Schminkt sich, daß er Ihr gefalle,
Mit phantast'schem Mondenstrahle.
