Der Morgenstern mit hellem Schein
lässt sich frei sehen wie ein Held
und leuchtet in die ganze Welt.

Bist willekumm, du schöner Stern,
du bringst uns Christum, Christum, unsern Herrn,
der unser lieber Heiland ist,
darum du hoch zu loben bist.

Ihr Kinder sollt bei diesem Stern
erkennen Christum, Christum, unsern Herrn,
Marien Sohn, den treuen Hort,
der uns leuchtet mit seinem Wort.

L'étoile du matin avec une lumière brillante et lumineuse,
se laisse voir librement comme un héros,
et éclaire dans le monde entier.

Sois la bienvenue, belle étoile,
Tu nous apportes le Christ, le Christ notre Seigneur,
qui est notre cher Sauveur,
c'est pourquoi tu es à louer très haut.

Votre enfant doit en cette étoile
reconnaître le Christ, le Christ notre Seigneur,
le fils de Marie, le refuge fidèle,
qui nous éclaire avec sa parole.
