Es stehn in unserm Garten
Der blühenden Rosen genug, -
Dir blüht, noch schöner als Rosen,
Ein Mägdlein so frisch und so jung.
Ich habe mit Fleiß gewählt
Die schönsten Rosen zum Strauß, -
Du küssest die rosigen Lippen
Und lachst am Ende mich aus.

Al nostre jardí hi ha prou
roses florides, --
per tu floreix, més bonica que les roses,
una noia tan fresca i tan jove.
Amb fervor he escollit
les roses més boniques per a un ram, --
tu beses els llavis color de rosa
i al final te’n rius de mi.
