da pflanzt ich ein und pflegte ein zartes Myrthenreis.
In Leid und Lust erglühte der Liebe Flamme heiß,
da wuchs empor und blühte mein zartes Myrthenreis.
Und nun mein Herz errungen der Liebe reichsten Preis,
hat sich zum Kranz verschlungen mein zartes Myrthenreis.
