Frühling, Frühling wird es nun bald.
 
Kuckuck, Kuckuck läßt nicht sein Schrei'n:
Komm in die Felder,
Wiesen und Wälder!
Frühling, Frühling, stelle dich ein!
 
Kuckuck, Kuckuck, trefflicher Held!
Was du gesungen,
Ist dir gelungen:
Winter, Winter räumet das Feld.
