Die Mondesschimmer fliegen,
Als säh ich unter mir
Das Schloß im Thale liegen,
Und ist doch so weit von hier!

Als müßte in dem Garten
Voll Rosen weiß und roth,
Der Liebste auf mich warten,
Und ist schon lange todt.
