Des îles de la Sonde,
De l'Inde au ciel brûlé,
Jusqu'au pôle gelé...

À notre vieille mère,
À nos jeunes amours ;
Mais la vague légère
Avec son doux refrain

de l’Índia del cel abrusant
fins al pol glaçat....
