Verloren im Raume
Ein erster Vogelruf.
Doch schwer hinschnaubend

Schreitet der Mensch,
Die Körner schleudernd,
Wo auseinander
Mit schwarzroten Wellen
Schäumt der Grund.

Strides man,
Hurling the seeds,
There where the soil
Foams apart
With black-red waves.
