Und wenn mein' Hanne laufen kann,
so gehn wir beid' spaziern,
dann stehn die Kinder alle still:
"Wer ist die kleine Dirn?"

Und wenn mein Hanne grösser wird,
kriegt sie den schmucksten Hut,
dann stehn die Kinder alle still:
"Guck Hanne mit dem Hut."

Und wenn sie noch viel grösser wird,
so kennt man sie nicht mehr,
dann stehn die Kinder alle still:
"Prinzessin kommt daher!"
