Sonne denkt, sie auch hätt'
Lang genug geschienen,

Mit den roten Gardinen.
Vöglein ruht im warmen Nest,
Schifflein liegt im Hafen,
Sonne schläft schon tief und fest,
Auch mein Kind will schlafen.

The sun is already deeply asleep,
My child wants to sleep as well.
