Vad skall du offra ännu mer? 
Du ligger ren på offerbord 
sen många år. 
Att ligga själv på offerbord 
är intet kval. 
Vem skall du ännu offra? 
Du älskar än, du älskar än, 
säg intet mer. 
Du gav ju hela jorden bort, 
på himmelsvägar lärde du dig gå. 
I din hand är rosen död, 
vinden rör ej din kind. 
Vem offrar du ännu? 
När timmen slår, 
skall du besvara denna fråga: 
då träffar du ditt val 
med liv och död som vittnen.

Être soi même sur l'autel

Qui sacrifieras-tu encore ?
Tu aimes, tu aimes,
ne dis rien de plus.
Tu as bien fait don de toute la terre,
tu as appris à avancer sur le chemin de ciel.
La rose est morte dans ta main ,
le vent ne touche plus ta joue.
Qui sacrifies-tu encore ?
Lorsque sonne l'heure,
tu dois répondre à cette question :
alors tu feras ton choix,
avec la vie et la mort comme témoins.
