Pfingstlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): FRE
Die Akazien blühen jetzt
wie gebenedeiete Jungfraun.
Wieder hebt sich mein Gesicht
ihrem reinen Geruche zu,
ins Morgenlicht.
Und auch Dich dort oben,
weiße Taube du,
die wie gestern
zwischen ihren grauen Schwestern
glänzt und kreist:
Alles erfüllt
Mein Heiliger Geist.

Chant de Pentecôte
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Aujourd'hui fleurissent les acacias,
comme des vierges bénies.
Mon visage se lève
vers votre senteur pure,
dans la lumière du matin.
Et vers toi aussi là-haut,
blanche colombe,
qui comme hier
entre leurs sœurs grises
brilles et voles en cercles :
Tout s'accomplit,
Mon Esprit Saint.
