Brume de Midi

Ton silence vaut tes chansons, belle Sirène.
Tout s’est tu. L’air et l’eau sont d’un azur profond.
Les regards aveuglés de lumière s’en vont
De l’or roux du soleil à l’or blanc de l’arène.
 
C’est midi, plein midi, l’heure lourde et sereine.
Dans l’immobilité la vie entière fond.
Mais voici que là-bas se font et se défont
Des écharpes de brume indolente qui traîne.
 
Tu m’apparais alors sous ce brouillard vermeil
Bacchante ivre d’amour, de vin et de sommeil.
Cette brume est la fleur de ton corps exhalée,
 
Sueur qui s’évapore en effluves ardents,
Voluptueuse haleine embaumée et salée
Que hume le Soleil, la bouche sur tes dents.
