Die Schwalbe fliegt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA LIT
  Die Schwalbe fliegt,
Der Frühling siegt,
Und spendet uns Blumen zum Kranze!
Bald huschen wir
Leis' aus der Thür,
Und fliegen zum prächtigen Tanze!

  Ein schwarzer Bock,
Ein Besenstock,
Die Ofengabel, der Wocken,
Reißt uns geschwind,
Wie Blitz und Wind,
Durch sausende Lüfte zum Brocken!

  Um Beelzebub
Tanzt unser Trupp
Und küßt ihm die kralligen Hände!
Ein Geisterschwarm
Faßt uns beim Arm,
Und schwinget im Tanzen die Brände!

  Und Beelzebub
Verheißt dem Trupp
Der Tanzenden Gaben auf Gaben:
Sie sollen schön
In Seide gehn
Und Töpfe voll Goldes sich graben!

  Ein Feuerdrach'
Umflieget das Dach,
Und bringet uns Butter und Eier!
Die Nachbarn [sehn]1
Die Funken wehn,
Und schlagen ein Kreuz vor dem Feuer!

  Die Schwalbe fliegt,
Der Frühling siegt,
[Und Blumen entblühn um die Wette]2!
Bald huschen wir
Leis' aus der Thür,
[Und lassen die Männer im Bette]3!

Cançó de les bruixes
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
L’oreneta vola,
la primavera triomfa
i ens dóna flors per a garlandes!
Adés ens escapolim
sense fer soroll per la porta
i volarem vers l’esplèndida dansa.

Un boc negre,
un mànec d’escombra,
la furga, la filosa,
ens arrosseguen veloçment,
com el llamp i el vent,
pels aires siulants vers el Brocken!

El nostre grup dansa
al voltant de Belzebú
i li besa ses arpelludes mans.
Una munió d’esperits
ens agafa pel braç
i brandeix les torxes en la dansa!

I Belzebú
promet al grup
de dansaires, present sobre present,
elles cal que siguin belles,
que es vesteixin de seda
i desenterrin cassoles plenes d’or!

Un drac de foc
vola a l’entorn de la teulada
i ens porta ous i mantega.
Els veïns veuen
enlairar-se les espurnes
i fan el signe de la creu al foc.

L’oreneta vola,
la primavera triomfa
i flors creixen a l’aposta!
Adés ens escapolim
sense fer soroll per la porta
i deixem els homes al llit!
