Krieg ist sein Wesen und Triumph sein Schritt.
Und wo er ist und seine Hände breitet,
Und wo sein Ruf tyrannisch niederdonnert,
Zerbricht das Ungerechte aller Schöpfung,
Und alle Dinge werden Gott und eins.
Unüberwindlich sind des Guten Tränen,
Baustoff der Welt und Wasser der Gebilde,
Wo seine guten Tränen niedersinken,
Verzehrt sich jede Form und kommt zu sich.
Gar keine Wut ist seiner zu vergleichen.
Er steht im Scheiterhaufen seines Lebens,
Und ihm zu Füßen ringelt sich verloren
Der Teufel, ein zertretner Feuerwurm.
Und fährt er hin, dann bleiben ihm zur Seite
Zwei Engel, die das Haupt in Sphären tauchen,
Und brüllen jubelnd unter Gold und Feuer,
Und schlagen donnernd ihre Schilde an.

À lui est la puissance, le régiment des étoiles,
Il tient le monde dans son poing comme une noix,
Immortellement un sourire s'enroule autour de son visage,
La guerre est son être te le triomphe son étape.
Et où il est et il étend sa main,
Et où son cri retentit comme le tonnerre,
Il brise tout ce qui est injuste dans le création,
Et toute chose devient Dieu et un.
Les larmes du bon sont insurmontables,
Matériaux du monde et eau de la création,
Où ses bonnes larmes tombent,
Toute forme se consume et vient à elle,
Aucune colère ne peut se comparer à la sienne.
Il se tient sur le bûcher de sa vie,
Et à ses pieds se tord, perdu,
Le démon, un ver de feu piétiné.
Et quand il quitte sa vie, alors à ses côtés restent
Deux anges dont la tête touchent les sphères,
Et ils rugissent se réjouissant sous l'or et le feu,
Et frappent leurs boucliers avec un bruit de tonnerre.
