Languir me fais
Language: French (Français)
Available translation(s): ENG
Languir me fais sans t'avoir offensée:
Plus ne m'escriptz, plus de moy ne t'enquiers;

You make me pine away
Language: English  after the French (Français)
You make me pine away, though I havn't offended you.
You've stopped writing to me, or asking after me.
But despite this I do not desire any other lady:
I'd rather die than change my mind.

I don't say that your love has vanished,
but I do complain of the anguish I receive.
And far from you I humbly beg you
not to be angry at me.
