No, porvannoj jubki oščupav kraja, skazala: ,,Ach, batjuški, ėto ne ja! Pojdu-ko domoj. Esli ja - ėto ja, Menja ne ukusit sobaka moja. Ona menja vstretit, viža, u varot. I, esli ne ja - na kuski razarvët!`` V okno postučala staruška čut' svet, Zalajala gromko sobaka v otvet. Staruška prisela, sama ne svoja, I ticho skazala, ,,Nu, značit, ne ja.``
