Die vom seligen Strande sind.

Muß mein Herz hinüberträumen
In das wunderbare Land,
Wo still unter Märchenbäumen
Paare wandeln, Hand in Hand.

Muß mein Herz das deine suchen,
Heimlich, wie ein Nachtgebet,
Dort wo unter roten Buchen
Unser Thron der Liebe steht.

cal que el meu cor escolti les veus
que vénen de ribes de benaurança.

Cal que el meu cor somiï més enllà,
envers el país de meravelles,
on encara, sota arbres de faula,
passegen les parelles, agafades de la mà.

Cal que el meu cor cerqui el teu,
furtivament, com una pregària nocturna,
allà on, dessota faigs vermells,
es troba el nostre tron de l’amor.
