Nun hängt nur noch am Kirchturmknopf
Der letzte Sonnenschein;
Bald werden auch die Höhen
Ganz ohne Sonne sein.

Und Silberglanz dann überall;
Des Mondes blasses Licht
Umschüttet unsre Laube,
Umleuchtet dein Gesicht.

Der Mond, das Licht der Küsse,
Das alles zaubrisch macht:
Komm, Nacht, mit deinen Gnaden,
Du liebereiche Nacht!

Al tombant del capvespre
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Ara, al bulb de la torre de l’església,
roman encara la darrera llum del sol;
aviat, les parts altes restaran
també sense gens de sol.

I llavors arreu una resplendor d’argent;
la llum pàl·lida de la lluna
es vessa en la nostra glorieta,
il·lumina l’entorn del teu rostre.

La lluna, la llum de les besades,
que tot ho fa màgic:
vine nit, amb la teva gràcia,
tu nit plena d’amor!
