Täuschung
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  AFR CAT CHI DUT ENG ENG FIN FRE FRI HEB ITA KOR LIT SPA
Ein Licht tanzt freundlich vor mir her;
Ich folg' ihm nach die Kreuz und Quer;
Ich folg' ihm gern, und seh's ihm an,
Daß es verlockt den Wandersmann.
Ach, wer wie ich so elend ist,
Giebt gern sich hin der bunten List,
Die hinter Eis und Nacht und Graus
Ihm weist ein helles, warmes Haus,
Und eine liebe Seele drin -
Nur Täuschung ist für mich Gewinn!

Ilusión
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Una luz danza amistosa ante mí,
y yo la sigo aquí y allá;
con gusto la sigo y la contemplo,
pues embelesa al caminante.
¡Ay! quien como yo es tan mísero,
se entrega a la colorida seducción,
que entre el hielo, la noche y el terror,
quizás le indique una casa luminosa y cálida,
y en ella un alma querida…
¡pero solo ilusión es lo que obtengo!
