by Anna Andreyevna Akhmatova (1889 - 1966)

Tebe pokornoj? Ty sošel s uma!
Language: Russian (Русский)

Tebe pokornoj? Ty sošel s uma!
Pokorna ja odnoj Gospodnej vole,
JA ne choču ni trepeta, ni boli,
Mne muž — palač, a dom ego — tjur'ma.

No vidiš' li! Ved' ja prišla sama...
Dekabr' roždalsja, vetry vyli v pole,
I bylo tak svetlo v tvoej nevole,
A za okoškom storožila t'ma.

Tak ptica o prozračnoe steklo
Vsem telom b'etsja v zimnee nenast'e,
I krov' pjatnaet beloe krylo.

Teper' vo mne spokojstvie i sčast'e.
Proščaj, moj tichij, ty mne večno mil
Za to, čto v dom svoj strannicu pustil.
