Rose d'amour
Language: French (Français)
Our translations:  CAT
Rose d'amour, nouvelle éclose,
Languit dans le creux du vallon,
Nulle, de mémoire de rose,
N'a tant souffert de l'Aquilon.
Epoux sauvage, il la tourmente;
Son amour ressemble au courroux;
Et Zéphire, dont elle est l'amante,
Lui promet des baisers plus doux.

Rose d'amour décolorée
Va succomber à ses douleurs;
Sur sa chute prématurée
L'aurore en vain répand des pleurs;
Demain (triste métamorphose!)
Le premier rayon du soleil
De celle qui fut une rose
En vain attendra le réveil.

Rose d'amour! ta déstinée
De l'amour obtint un soupir;
Un mystérieux hyménée
Unit et la fleur et Zéphyr:
Zéphyr, à l'heure où tout repose,
Trompa le jaloux aquilon;
Au plaisir il rendit la rose,
Et son ornement au vallon.
