A les nits de lluna aquest cor s’oblida de pledejar amb el destí. El cel, ple d’estrelles, m’envolta de pau; llavors penso que també aquí baix surten moltes flors; i, renovellat, el meu mut esguard, altrament trist, contempla allà dalt el curs etern de les estrelles. En elles sagnen els cors, en elles els dolors es turmenten, però resplendeixen serenes. Així, arribo feliçment a concloure: també la nostra petita terra, plena de discòrdies i perills, com una llum serena, s’entrellaça en aquella diadema; així s’esdevenen estrelles a la llunyania!
