Nelle notti illuminate dalla luna, quest'anima non sa più fare i conti col destino. Il cielo, riccamente stellato, mi circonda di pace; penso che anche quaggiù cresce qualche fiore; e nuovo guarda, muto ma turbato, il mio occhio in alto verso l'eterno corso delle stelle. Su di loro sanguinano cuori, su di loro si lamentano dolori, ma esse splendono liete. Così vado avanti sereno: anche la nostra piccola terra, piena di errori e di pericoli, come luce lieta si intreccia a quel diadema; così diventiamo stelle, da lontano!
