von Tür zu Türe sieht es lieblich aus,
der Künstler froh die stillen Blicke hegt,
wo Leben sich zum Leben freundlich regt.
 
Und wie wir auch durch fremde Lande ziehn,
dort kommt es her, [da]2 kehrt es wieder hin,
wir wenden uns, wie auch die Welt entzücke,
der Enge zu, die uns allein, allein beglücke.
