Morgengruss des thüringischen Sängerbundes
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT
Seid gegrüsset, traute Brüder,
Sei gegrüsst, du liebe Stadt,
Die zum schönen Fest der Lieder
Diesen Kreis versammelt hat.
Fahnen wehen durch's Gedränge,
Blicke fliegen hin und her,
Und des Festes Jubelklänge
Wogen durch des Volkes Meer.

Feierlich in weiter Runde
Harrt der Sänger bunte Kreis
Und es strömt aus jedem Munde
Liedesgruss und Dank und Preis.
Heil dem Herrscher dieser Gauen,
Segen über jedes Haus,
Gruss den Freunden, und den Frauen
Einen vollen Liederstrauss.

Also schlingt um alle Herzen
Sich der Treue Zauberband,
Und es schweigen Gram und Schmerzen,
Denn die Freude zog in's land.
Und des Himmels Gnade spende
Einen schönen, frohen Tag,
Dass der Anfang und das Ende
Glücklich sein und bleiben mag.

Morgengroet van de Thuringse zangersbond
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Wees gegroet, geliefde broeders,
Wees gegroet, mijn lieve stad,
Die voor 't feest der lied'renhoeders
Wilde zijn de bakermat.
Vaandels waaien door de rangen,
Blikken zeggen ha en hé,
En de blije jubelzangen
Golven door de mensenzee.

Feestelijk in 'n grote ronde
Wacht de bonte zangerskring
En er stroomt uit alle monden
Lied'rengroet en lofprijzing.
Heil 't bestuur van deze gouwen,
Zegen over huis en flat,
Groet aan vrienden, en voor vrouwen
Een geweldig liedboeket.

Alle harten zal omrijgen
Trouw met 'n vaste toverband,
En verdriet en pijnen zwijgen,
Want de vreugde kwam in 't land.
Moog' de hemel dit voleinden,
Geven ons een blijde dag,
Dat de aanvang en het einde
Prettig zijn en blijven mag.
