Nun dämmert die Tat
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG

Now action dawns
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
Now life has armoured me in bronze,
The dreams were scattered from my steel-hard heart.
The rose has lost its petals, the sun burns,
Upon my bitter lips the song dies.
From out of springtime and love that which was sown has ripened,
Yearning has gone to sleep, now action dawns.
