Rudert erlahmend im Nass und ist willig zu sterben;

A butterfly has flown into my goblet of...
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
A butterfly has flown into my goblet of wine,
Intoxicated, it resigns itself to its sweet perishing,
It rows slackly in the wet and is willing to die;
Finally my finger has pulled him out.

Thus my heart, blinded by your eyes,
Sank blissfully in the scented goblet of love,
Willing to die, intoxicated by the wine of your enchantment,
Unless a gesture of your hand completes my destiny.
