No feia cas dels nius d’ocells i llençava el meu cavallet de fusta a la gespa quan, a sota d’un arbre, al costat de ma germana, seia una bonica xicota; de la jovial xicota em delectaven les seves galtes vermelles, la seva boca, el seu front, els seus rínxols rossos; jo mirava la seva brusa i el seu cosset quan ella es repenjava a l’arbre i llavors m’estirava a l’herba a tocar del ribet del seu vestit. El que en altre temps vaig fer de minyó, de veritat ho seguiré fent sempre, fins que estigui en una freda tomba, reposant amb els meus avantpassats.
