Wenn wir in höchsten Nöten sein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT DUT ENG FRE
Wenn wir in höchsten Nöten sein
Und wissen nicht, wo aus [noch]1 ein
Und finden weder Hilf noch Rat,
Ob wir gleich sorgen früh und spat,
So ist [dies]2 unser Trost allein,
Daß wir zusammen [ingemein]3
Dich [anrufen]4, o treuer Gott,
Um Rettung aus der Angst und Not.
Und heben unsre Aug'n und Herz
Zu dir in wahrer Reu' und Schmerz
Und suchen der Sünd' Vergebung
Und aller Strafen Linderung,
Die du verheißest gnädiglich
Allen, die darum bitten dich
Im Namen dein's Sohns Jesu Christ,
Der unser Heil und Fürsprech ist.
Drum kommen wir, o Herre Gott,
Und klagen dir all unsre Not,
Weil wir jetzt stehn verlaßen gar
In großer Trübsal und Gefahr.
Sieh nicht an unser Sünden groß,
Sprich uns [derselb]5 aus Gnaden los;
Steh uns in unserm Elend bei,
Mach uns von [allen Plagen]6 frei;
Auf daß von Herzen können wir
Nachmals mit Freuden danken dir,
Gehorsam sein nach deinem Wort,
Dich allzeit preisen hier und dort.

Quan estem en la més gran fretura
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Quan estem en la més gran fretura
i no sabem què hem de fer
i no trobem ajut ni consell,
encara que ens angoixem tothora,
llavors, el nostre únic conhort
és que reunits, ensems
et cridem, oh Déu fidel,
perquè ens alliberis de la por i la fretura.
No paris esment en els nostres grans pecats,
absol-nos amb la teva gràcia;
fes-nos costat en la nostra misèria,
allibera’ns de tots els flagells;
perquè més tard, de tot cor, et puguem
joiosament donar gràcies,
ser obedients a la teva paraula,
i lloar-te arreu i per sempre.
