Canard blanc, canard gris, bec en l'air, sous la pluie, 
S'en vont à Nantes par la lande et par là plaine, 
Et ramiers doux, petits ramiers, couleur de suie, 
Sous le soleil, filent vers Metz, Metz en Lorraine... 
S'én vont aussi les beaux navires sans patrie. ..
Nous ne boirons pas le vin qu'ils emportent.
S'en va la lune, s'en va du ciel à Marie…
Mais toi tu restes à ma porte.
Battez battants, chantez les cloches,
Si tout s'en va, toi tu t'approches…
Les beaux navires n'ont pas de nids,
Où lèvre heureuse, regards fermés, soucis finis.
