Translation by Adolphe Thalasso (1858 - 1919)

À la porte occidentale
mon amie me donne pleine félicité.

mon amie me donne pleine félicité.

Confirmed with Adolphe Thalasso, Anthologie de l'Amour Asiatique, Paris, Société du Mercure de France, 1907, page 159. Note: the original Chinese poem is attributed here to "Livre du Chi-King, Ode 19 1776 avant J.-C"; however, a similar translation by Toussaint attributes its original Chinese poem to Tsao Chang Ling, an 18th century author.
