Ich denke an das alte Märchen,
Es liegt mein Kopf in deinem Schoß,
Dein Mund singt mir ein Wiegenliedchen,
Und meine Augen werden groß.

Mein Herz, das ist so still und selig,
Ein goldener Traum darüber fliegt,
Es liegt in einer goldnen Wiege,
Die langsam hin und her sich wiegt.

sinun suusi laulaa minulle kehtolaulua,
ja silmäni rävähtävät suuriksi.
 
Sydämeni on niin rauhallinen ja autuas,
