Sur moy, Seigneur, ta main pesante et dure Tu as jetté, las! tu m’as abatu: Tant que plus n’ay ny force ny vertu Pour resister aux tormens que j’endure. Mais quoy, je sçay que tu as soin et cure De moy ton cerf de tes verges battu Et en ces maux dont je suis combattu Tant seullement ta grand bonté m’asseure. Pourtant aussi ô Dieu doux et humain Ma cause et moy je remez en ta main Soubz la faveur de ta douce clemence, Mais attendant que ta sainte douceur Face une fin à ma triste langueur, Je te supply donne moy patience.
