Zhemchug i ljubov'
Language: Russian (Русский)
V glubine morskoj, [v blestjashchej kolybeli,]1
Dragocennaja zhemchuzhina dremala,
I nad neju volny morja lish' sineli,
I o nebe nichego ona ne znala…

No spustilsja k nej, v puchinu okeana
Molodoj plovec s besstrashnoju dushoju;
On nashel jee sred' vodnogo tumana,
U morej pokhitil derzostnoj rukoju.

I, pokinuv kolybel' iz perlamutra,
Bozhij svet ona vpervye uvidala,
I potom v odno torzhestvennoje utro
V zolotoj korone jarko zablistala.

V molodoj grudi, sred' devstvennykh zhelanij,
Pritajas', ljubov' chistejshaja dremala
I tonula v more chistykh upovanij,
I o schast'e nichego ona ne znala…

No pronik odnazhdy v serdce molodoje
Dvukh ochej vljublennykh vzor neotrazimyj,
On nashel ljubvi sokrovishche zlatoje,
Gde ono khranilos' tajno i nezrimo.

Iz mladogo serdca vyrvavshis' na volju,
Bozhij svet ljubov' vpervye uvidala,
Luchezarnym schast'em radostnuju dolju,
Moloduju zhizn', roskoshno uvenchala…
