Wie die Wolke nach der Sonne
Language: German (Deutsch)

Wie die Wolke nach der Sonne
Voll Verlangen irrt und bangt,
Und durchglüht vom Himmelswonne
Sterbend ihr am Busen hangt;
Wie die Sonnenblume richtet
[Nach der]1 Sonn' ihr Angesicht
Und nicht eh'r auf sie verzichtet
Bis ihr eig'nes Auge bricht;
Wie der Aar auf Wolkenpfade
Sehnend steigt in's Himmelszelt
Und berauscht vom Sonnenbade
Blind zur Erde niederfällt:
So auch muß ich schmachten, bangen,
Späh'n und trachten, dich zu seh'n,
Will an deinen Blicken hangen
Und an ihrem Glanz vergeh'n.

Como la nube el sol anhela
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Como la nube el sol anhela
y vaga plena de deseo
e inflamada con los deleites celestiales
pende moribunda de su seno;
como el girasol
dirige su rostro al sol
y no renuncia a él
hasta que su propio ojo se apaga;
como el águila que, por la senda de las nubes,
anhelante se alza hacia la bóveda celeste
y, embriagada por el baño de sol,
cae cegada a la tierra,
así debo yo languidecer, anhelar,
acechar y esforzarme por verte.
Quiero aferrarme a tu mirada
y en su brillo consumirme.
