by Aleksandr Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799 - 1837)

Opjat' ja vaš, o junye druz'ja!
Language: Russian (Русский)
Opjat' ja vaš, o junye druz'ja!
Tumannye sokrylis' dni razluki:
I bratu vnov' prosterlis' vaši ruki,
Vaš rezvyj krug uvidel snova ja.
Vsë te že vy, no serdce už ne to že:
Uže ne vy emu vsego dorože,
Už ja ne tot… nevidimoj stezej —
Ušla pora veselosti bespečnoj,
Ušla navek, i žizni skorotečnoj
Luč utrennij bledneet nado mnoj. —
Veselie rasstalosja s dušoj.
Otveržennyj sud'binoju revnivoj,
Ulybku, smech, i rezvost', i pokoj —
JA vsë zabyl: pečali molčalivoj
Pokrov ležit nad junoju glavoj…
Naprasno vy besedoju šutlivoj
I nežnost'ju duši krasnorečivoj
Moj tjažkoj son chotite perervat',
Vsë končilos', — i rezvosti sčastlivoj
V duše moej izgladilas' pečat'.
Čtob udalit' ugrjumye stradan'ja,
Naprasno vy nesete liru mne;
Minuvšich dnej pogasnuli mečtan'ja,
I umer glas v besčuvstvennoj strune.
Pered soboj odnu pečal' ja vižu!
Mne strašen mir, mne skučen dnevnyj svet;
Pojdu v lesa, v kotorych žizni net,
Gde mertvyj mrak — ja radost' nenavižu;
Vo mne zastyl ee minutnyj sled.
Opali vy, listy včerašnej rozy!
Ne docveli do mesjačnych lučej.
Umčalis' vy, dni radosti moej!
Umčalis' vy — nevol'no l'jutsja slezy,
I vjanu ja na temnom utre dnej.

   O Družestvo! predaj menja zabven'ju;
V bezmolvii pokorstvuju sud'bam,
Ostav' menja serdečnomu mučen'ju,
Ostav' menja pustynjam i slezam.
