by Aleksandr Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799 - 1837)

Opjat' ja vash, o junye druz'ja!
Language: Russian (Русский)
Opjat' ja vash, o junye druz'ja!
Tumannye sokrylis' dni razluki:
I bratu vnov' prosterlis' vashi ruki,
Vash rezvyj krug uvidel snova ja.
Vsjo te zhe vy, no serdce uzh ne to zhe:
Uzhe ne vy jemu vsego dorozhe,
Uzh ja ne tot… nevidimoj stezej —
Ushla pora veselosti bespechnoj,
Ushla navek, i zhizni skorotechnoj
Luch utrennij blednejet nado mnoj. —
Veselije rasstalosja s dushoj.
Otverzhennyj sud'binoju revnivoj,
Ulybku, smekh, i rezvost', i pokoj —
Ja vsjo zabyl: pechali molchalivoj
Pokrov lezhit nad junoju glavoj…
Naprasno vy besedoju shutlivoj
I nezhnost'ju dushi krasnorechivoj
Moj tjazhkoj son khotite perervat',
Vsjo konchilos', — i rezvosti schastlivoj
V dushe mojej izgladilas' pechat'.
Chtob udalit' ugrjumye stradan'ja,
Naprasno vy nesete liru mne;
Minuvshikh dnej pogasnuli mechtan'ja,
I umer glas v beschuvstvennoj strune.
Pered soboj odnu pechal' ja vizhu!
Mne strashen mir, mne skuchen dnevnyj svet;
Pojdu v lesa, v kotorykh zhizni net,
Gde mertvyj mrak — ja radost' nenavizhu;
Vo mne zastyl jee minutnyj sled.
Opali vy, listy vcherashnej rozy!
Ne docveli do mesjachnykh luchej.
Umchalis' vy, dni radosti mojej!
Umchalis' vy — nevol'no l'jutsja slezy,
I vjanu ja na temnom utre dnej.

   O Druzhestvo! predaj menja zabven'ju;
V bezmolvii pokorstvuju sud'bam,
Ostav' menja serdechnomu muchen'ju,
Ostav' menja pustynjam i slezam.
